Keeping the Sabbath Holy

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore theLord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. (Ex 20:8-11)

1. Seek to fulfill the purpose not the form

2. Always prepare for it

3. Beautify the Day with Worship

4. Break from Unnecessary Chores

5. Avoid making others work for you

6. Tackle Conflicts & Conundrums with Humility & Charity

7. Honour the Lord by delighting in His Day

doctrinal basis (基本信仰)

1．The unity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the Godhead.

1．圣父、圣子、圣灵三位一体真神。

2．The sovereignty of God in creation, revelation, redemption and final judgment.

2．神统管着创造、真理揭示、救赎及最后审判之主权。

3．The divine inspiration and entire trustworthiness of Holy Scripture, as originally given, and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

3．整本圣经全是神启示之真理，是一切信仰和行为最高权威。

4．The universal sinfulness and guilt of all people since the fall, rendering them subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.

4．因着人犯罪堕落后，全世界及全人类都在神震怒及责罚之下。

5．Redemption from the guilt, penalty, dominion and pollution of sin, solely through the sacrificial death (as our representative and substitute) of the Lord Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God.

5．主耶稣基督-- 神的儿子-- 祂牺牲的死代替了我们，成为我们唯一因着罪而来之罪责、刑罚、辖制和污秽中的拯救。

6．The bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead and his ascension to the right hand of God the Father.

6．主耶稣基督从死亡中肉身复活，升到父神的右边。

7．The presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the work of regeneration.

7．圣灵在信徒重生中的同在与能力。

8．The justification of the sinner by the grace of God through faith alone.

8．信心是神以恩典审判罪人的唯一途径。

9．The indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit in the believer.

9．圣灵内住在一切相信的人中，并动工影响他们。

10．The one holy universal Church which is the body of Christ and to which all true believers belong.

10．所有信徒均属于唯一神圣的普世教会，它也是基督的身体。

11．The expectation of the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

11．主耶稣基督必亲自再来。

from this great God!

圣诞节气氛

圣诞节(12月25日)，是耶稣基督诞生的日子。这一天是与世界各地一样已成为马来西亚的一个重要节日。届时，马来西亚的基督徒，与世界各地的基督徒也一样虔诚庆祝佳节。圣诞前夕，各教堂举行夜弥撒，而各购物中心、酒店、老人院与孤儿院等处处可闻圣诞乐曲飞扬。不论是基督徒或非教徒都沉醉在圣诞的气氛中，大家携手同欢，普天共庆。
